Manager of the Arts

Hello and welcome to my website. My name is Dasha and I would like to share my journey on becoming an Art Manager. I am in a very beginning of it and I thought it would be useful to talk about my thoughts and experiences in a form of a blog.

Originally this website was fully dedicated to my final year assessment at Wimbledon College of Art and art works made in that time period. I have changed my path since then, and decided to study Arts & Cultural Management at King’s College London. It was a desirable but at the same time a very difficult decision to make since I was afraid, I will stop producing art. And although I remained in the arts sector, the type of work that I have to do right now is entirely different to what I’ve been doing during my Fine Art degree.

I am enjoying my new degree very much and I am happy to have a perspective of an artist on the course material. I might not be able to produce more paintings any time soon I will make sure to figure out how to make it a part of my schedule later on.

I decided to leave my portfolio here and added some older pieces to it. I also saved the original home page of this website to give you a throwback to what I’ve been doing. Notice: the information provided in the original homepage doesn’t not fully reflect my portfolio since it’s been altered. I hope I will be able to add new artworks to my existing projects and combine a studio-based with an academic practice.
